The North Ballarat Sports Club recently held its Annual General Meeting, bringing together members and supporters to reflect on the past year and recognise the incredible people who continue to drive our club forward. One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of our highest honour, with Stephen McNulty inducted into the Hall of Fame. This prestigious recognition celebrates Stephen’s outstanding contribution, dedication, and lasting impact on the club. We were also proud to award Life Memberships to several individuals who have given years of service and commitment to North Ballarat: Pete Dwyer – Life Member Ange Carey – Life Member Mandy Polkinghorne – Life Member Prue Douglass – Life Member (absent on the night) Life Membership recognises those who have gone above and beyond for the club, and we thank them for the passion and time they have invested in the North community. The AGM also confirmed key leadership roles for the year ahead: Brad Beseler – Secretary Mick Ryan – Football Director Lenny Quinlan – Business Operations Director Cam Palmer – Treasurer We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to Shay McInerney, who has finished her term as Junior Director. Shay’s contribution and commitment to the club’s future has been greatly appreciated. As we look ahead to the 2026 season, we thank everyone who continues to support North Ballarat. The strength of our club comes from the people who volunteer their time, energy, and passion to keep the black and white thriving. Go North 🖤🤍

PRUE DOUGLASS INDUCTED AS FIRST FEMALE BFNL LIFE MEMBER At the BFNL AGM, our very own Prue Douglass was officially inducted as the first-ever female Life Me mbe r of the Ballarat Football Netball League . This honour is a true reflection of Prue’s unwavering dedication, leadership, and lifelong commitment to netball both within our region and right here at North Ballarat. Prue already holds one of the league’s most prestigious recognitions, with the BFNL 17 & Under Best and Fairest Medal named in her honour: The Prue Douglass Best & Fairest Award Her impact on generations of players continues to shape the future of our sport. We are incredibly proud of Prue and deeply grateful for the support of her family, Tony and Poppy, who have been part of this journey every step of the way. Please join us in congratulating Prue on this historic and well-deserved achievement!

RE-SIGNED FOR 2026 | JOSH MORRIS We’re excited to announce that Josh Morris has re-committed to North Ballarat for the 2026 season. He joined the Roosters and capped off a tremendous debut season by winning the Stott-Eyres Senior Best & Fairest Medal in his first year at the club. His impact was immediate - and undeniable. Josh brings with him an impressive resume: Former Hawthorn AFL player (2020–2023) with 15 AFL games 37 VFL games for Box Hill Played for Woodville West-Torrens in the SANFL in 2024 Standing at 186cm, Josh is a fast-leading, dangerous forward known for his acceleration, foot skills, smart decision-making and consistency. Josh’s re-signing is a massive boost for our 2026 campaign and we can’t wait to see what he delivers next. Here’s to another big year, Josh!
